A typical ski day begins with transportation to our trails at one of our convenient pick-up locations.  Arriving closer to our trails, we will get ready by putting on our boots and skiwear, leaving behind any extra clothing or food for the bus ride home.

Along our ski corridor, we drop off groups at different locations.  We take our ski equipment out of the bus and prepare for the day's outing.  An outing involves about six hours of skiing with a group of 5-7 compatible skiers.  A group leader selects the trails, pace and distance to be covered based on the ski conditions, abilities and enthusiasm of the group.  It is not unusual to see only your own ski group on the trails until we regroup at the end of the day.

We take breaks for sightseeing, snacks and lunch.  Remember, there are no ski chalets.  Each skier carries a backpack containing items such as a map, compass, whistle, food, hot drink, extra clothing, and waxes.

At the end of the day, the ski groups will meet at their pre-determined time and locations to be picked up by the bus.  Change into dry clothes, have a little something to eat, reminisce with the other skiers about their adventures before you take a well-deserved snooze on the way back home.
