Bus Schedule and Pick Up Locations

We travel to and from our trails by chartered coach starting the first Sunday in January and ski as long as there is snow on the trails.  The bus is cancelled only if the weather is unfavourable in the ski area.

On rare occasions, the Club has found it necessary to cancel Sunday skiing due to extreme weather conditions (or change to car pooling).  We suggest that you call the Bus Reservation Line on Saturday after 12:00 noon for an updated message (416- 201-4684).  If you did not reserve a spot earlier in the week, there may be a message indicating whether or not there are still seats available.

Bus pick ups are scheduled to start at 6:45 AM from Downtown Toronto and arrive at the cross country ski trails by 10:00 AM. Departure from our trails will either be at 4:00 pm or 4:30 pm. One can expect to be back in Downtown Toronto by 7 pm.

 

  First Pick Up Point:  

  Location: Front and Spadina - south side of Front, just east of Spadina

  Parking: Paid parking on nearby streets or parking lots

  Arrives: 6:45 AM

  Departs: 6:50 AM

 

 

 

 

 

 

    Second Pick Up Point:

  Location: Yorkille and Yonge - southwest corner of Yorkville (two blocks north of Bloor) & Yonge.

  Parking: Paid parking on nearby streets or parking lots.

  Departs: 7:15 AM

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Location: Yonge and Woodlawn - south east corner of Yonge

  Parking: Not Available

  Departs: Hop On Stop - the bus will pick up any waiting skiiers. 

 

 

 

 

 

 Fourth Pick Up Point

 Location: Yonge and Eglinton - south east corner of Yonge, in front of the Tim Horton's.

 Parking: Paid parking on nearby streets or parking lots (East of Eglinton before Mount Pleasant)

 Departs: 7:30 AM

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Fifth Pick Up Point:

  Location: Yonge and York Mills - south of York Mills on Yonge, beside the Miller Tavern

  Parking: Car pool parking lot

  Departs: 7:45 AM

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  Sixth Pick Up Point:

Location: Highway 400 and Major MacKenzie Drive West

Parking: Parking at car pool parking lot.

Departs: 8:00 AM

 

 

 

 

 

 Seventh Pick Up Point:

 The bus will only pick up and stop if requested by member.

 Location: Highway 400 On Ramp North and Highway 9

 Parking: Parking at car pool parking lot on Highway 9

 Departs: 8:15 AM

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 Barrie and Northern Stops:

 Special arrangements - depending on what trails will be skiied that Sunday when calling please indicate northern stop to meet you.

  •   A bus stop in Barrie (Highway 400 and Essa Road)
  •   A bus stop in Waubaushene (Esso Station at Highway 400 and 12) -- bus arrives approx. 9:10 a.m.  Please make sure  you arrive well ahead of time in case the bus is early.   You should already be dressed for skiing (ski boots, gators, already on) when you board the bus.
  •   A bus stop in Gravenhurst (near Bethune and Brock Street in front of the Gull Lake Variety Store ) -- bus arrives ??   Please make sure  you arrive well ahead of time in case the bus is early.   You should already be dressed for skiing (ski boots, gators, already on) when you board the bus.
