Five Winds Backcountry Club is a non-profit, entirely volunteer runned club. Membership and bus fares are entirely based on meeting the club's annual expenses
We encourage everyone to comply with the times for reserving and cancelling. Good things happen and unexpectedly you have a last minute opportunity to come skiing so by all means do come, but generally please try to remember to make your reservation on time. Ditto for cancellations
Preseason Surprises: Our bus doesn’t start until January, but we sometimes get an earlier dump. Check the bus line for car pooling or leave a message with your suggestions and they may be incorporated in the bus line message.
Winter 2011 - 2012 Club Fees
Annual Membership
Single Membership: $40.00 (Before Nov. 30)Single Membership: $45.00 (After Nov. 30)If new member - you will receive a Five Winds Trail MapGuest Fee
A guest of the club or a member who would like to ski for a day with the club: $5.00 (in addition to the bus fare)If a guest decides to join the club in the same season, the guest fee will be applied to the annual membership fee.
Bus Fare
Toronto Bus Fare: $30.00 per Sunday Bus ReservationBarrie Bus Fare: $25.00 per Sunday Bus ReservationNorthern Bus Fare: $10.00 per Sunday Bus ReservationThere are no trail fees when skiing on the club's trail system.
Applicable Fees
No Reservation Fee - skiers who join without making a reservation by noon on Friday: $5.00 (in addition to the bus fare)No Show Fee - skiers who have reserved a seat but do not show up or haven't cancelled by Friday noon: $20.00
